Curriculum
Our curriculum is a brief snapshot of the classroom expectations, and development of our students. Our instructors are able to tailor the curriculum to every student to ensure the most encouraging and supportive environment possible.
ages 2 1/2-5
All preschool classes are designed to introduce age appropriate coursework for the young dancer’s physical, emotional, and social skills. We utilize young children’s growing love of movement and music as a guiding point. Classes are offered in the Ballet and Tap genres. The class develops the basic elements of creative movement, tap, and ballet as well as vocabulary, and music. Primary objectives are geared toward inspiration, self-expression, creativity, and imagination.
Ages 5-7
The intermediate level is for those dancers who typically have successfully completed 1-2 years of our early dance education classes. Classes offered in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop and Tech & Strength. The age group focus will be on technique, self-expression, and performance within the joy of a disciplined yet encouraging learning environment.
Ages 8-10
Classes are designed to develop the second through fifth grade student with age appropriate coursework developing beginner through intermediate skills in dance, choreography, vocabulary and musicality with stylized execution of the respective genre. Classes offered in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, and Tech & Strength. The classroom focus will be on technique, self-expression, and performance within the joy of a disciplined yet encouraging learning environment.

Beginner: For the student with little or no dance experience, or no more than 1-2 years of preschool dance education.

Intermediate: For the student with 2 – 4 years of early dance education who has demonstrated proficiency in the basic skills and is ready to move on to a higher level of difficulty.
Ages 11-18
Classes are designed to develop the fifth grade and higher student with age appropriate coursework developing beginner through advanced skills in dance, choreography, vocabulary and musicality with stylized execution of the dance genre. Classes offered in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Hip Hop, and Tech & Strength. The focus will be on technique, self-expression, and performance within the joy of a disciplined yet encouraging learning environment. Students will be advanced based on their demonstration of skills and their years of training.

Beginner: For the student with little or no dance experience, or no more than 1-2 years of dance education.

Intermediate: For the student with 2 – 4 years of early dance education who has demonstrated a high level of proficiency in the fundamental skills and is ready to move on to a higher level of difficulty in a familiar style.

Advanced: For the student with 5-8 years of dance education and has successfully progressed through all previous levels. Students are challenged with more complex choreography and are expected to display the qualities of our vision.
Competitive Teams
All competition teams are by invitation and/or audition only. An assessment class may be necessary to evaluate student’s skills, knowledge, vocabulary and ability to retain and perform complex choreography and showmanship. All students are expected to display higher qualities of controlling the developmental process dance in all highlighted areas of our curriculum.
