Dress Code

Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Turns and leaps:

-Any color of leotards, tights, ballet skirts, hot shorts, leggings, sports bras, form fitted tank tops or tees or other variations of form fitted athletic attire.

*Please note the instructor may require their respective class to have a minimized dress code from what is stated above. 

 

-Hair should be up out of the face and off the neck.

 

-Black or Tan Jazz shoes, Pink Canvas Ballet shoes, Black Tap shoes, Tan half-soles. NO Socks are allowed to be worn in place of shoes.

Hip Hop:

-Any color of sweatpants or other loose fitting athletic pants or tops are permitted.

-Hair needs to be out of the face and off the neck.

-Tennis shoes (laces or velcro), or Jazz shoes. No Slip On shoes are allowed.

NONE of the following items are permitted  to be worn in any class:

-Loose jewelry

-Heavy hair accessories

-Claw clips  

**Please note the studio has the right to require students with bangs to use headbands, barrettes, or bobby pins to hold the hair out of the face, if it becomes a distraction to the student in class.  All hair is required to be slicked back in performances and we want to minimize developing habits in the classroom. 

A "dance bag" is highly recommended to hold all necessary items. A water bottle is also recommended to have for all dancers. 

No Food, Candy or Drinks (other than water) are allowed in the dance studio.
